“Are you a Christian?” (Keresztény vagy?) The most common answer to this question is, yes. If you look Hungary up online you will find that most websites list Hungary as a Christian country. However, the truth is far from this. Isaiah 29:13 says this, “Because this people draw near with their words and honor Me with their lip service, but they remove their hearts far from Me, and their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote.” I believe this is a great description for Hungary. To be a Christian here means to attend a church on Sunday mornings and the appropriate holidays (such as Christmas and Easter). Being a Christian is mostly being religious. Click here to read more…
